At BetterAds, we strive to provide excellent service and value. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how to request them, and what to expect during the refund process.
General Refund Policy
Due to the nature of our AI-powered digital services and instant delivery of credits, all sales are generally final and non-refundable. However, we offer refunds in specific circumstances outlined below.
Subscription Refunds
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers to paid plans:
- Applies to your first subscription purchase only
 - Must be requested within 7 days of initial payment
 - Full refund of subscription fee
 - Account must not have consumed more than 25% of monthly credits
 - Cannot be combined with promotional discounts or free trials
 
Important
The money-back guarantee applies only to your very first paid subscription. Subsequent renewals or plan changes are not eligible for refunds.
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after the 7-day guarantee period expires. You can cancel at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions may be eligible for prorated refunds in exceptional circumstances:
- Must be requested within 30 days of purchase
 - Account must not have consumed more than 10% of annual credits
 - Subject to approval on a case-by-case basis
 - Refund amount is prorated based on remaining months
 - Processing fee may apply
 
Credit Purchase Refunds
Additional credit purchases (beyond subscription credits) are generally non-refundable because they are delivered and available for immediate use. However, refunds may be considered if:
- Technical error resulted in duplicate charges
 - Credits were purchased by mistake and have not been used
 - Credits were not delivered due to system error
 
Refund requests for credit purchases must be made within 48 hours and credits must remain unused.
Technical Issues and Service Failures
If you experience technical issues or service failures that prevent you from using BetterAds, we may provide refunds or credit compensation:
Service Outages
For extended service outages (more than 24 consecutive hours), we will provide:
- Credit compensation proportional to downtime
 - Extension of subscription period
 - Partial refund if outage exceeds 72 hours
 
AI Generation Failures
If our AI models fail to generate content due to technical errors (not content policy violations):
- Credits are automatically refunded within 24 hours
 - No action required on your part
 - If automatic refund fails, contact support within 7 days
 
Quality Issues
We do not provide refunds for subjective quality issues such as:
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated results
 - Content not matching expectations
 - Avatar appearance or voice quality preferences
 - Video resolution or format preferences
 
AI-generated content varies by nature. We recommend using our preview features and free trial to evaluate quality before purchasing paid subscriptions.
Billing Errors and Unauthorized Charges
If you identify billing errors or unauthorized charges:
- Contact support immediately at billing@trybetterads.com
 - Provide transaction details (date, amount, order ID)
 - We will investigate within 5 business days
 - Confirmed errors will be refunded within 7-10 business days
 
For unauthorized charges due to compromised account security, notify us immediately. We investigate such cases thoroughly and may provide refunds if fraud is confirmed.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Email billing@trybetterads.com with subject line "Refund Request"
 - Include your account email, order number, and payment date
 - Explain the reason for your refund request
 - Provide any supporting documentation or screenshots
 - Wait for response within 5 business days
 
Refund requests made through other channels (social media, general support) may experience delays.
Refund Processing
Timeline
Once a refund is approved:
- Processing begins within 2 business days
 - Refund issued to original payment method
 - Credit card refunds appear in 5-10 business days
 - PayPal refunds appear in 3-5 business days
 - Bank transfers may take up to 14 business days
 
Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase. We cannot provide refunds to different accounts or payment methods for security reasons.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, we may offer partial refunds:
- Account has consumed some credits but qualifies for refund
 - Prorated refund for annual subscription cancellations
 - Goodwill refunds for service issues
 - Refund minus processing fees (typically 3-5%)
 
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following situations:
- Account terminated for Terms of Service violations
 - Credits or subscriptions used beyond refund eligibility limits
 - Buyer's remorse after 7-day guarantee period
 - Change of mind about subscription after using credits
 - Dissatisfaction with subjective quality of AI outputs
 - Failure to cancel before renewal date
 - Promotional or discounted subscriptions (unless legally required)
 - Third-party marketplace purchases (handled by that platform)
 
Cancellation vs Refund
Cancellation and refunds are different:
- Cancellation: Stops future charges but no money returned
 - Refund: Returns money for current or past charges
 
You can cancel your subscription anytime through account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, with no refund for remaining time.
Free Trial and Promotional Offers
Free trials and promotional offers have specific terms:
- Free trials must be canceled before trial ends to avoid charges
 - No refunds for forgetting to cancel free trials
 - Promotional credits or bonuses are non-refundable
 - One-time promotional prices are final and non-refundable
 
Chargebacks
Important Notice
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account termination and permanent ban from BetterAds.
If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company:
- Your account will be immediately suspended
 - All generated content may be deleted
 - We reserve the right to pursue legal action for fraudulent chargebacks
 - Please contact us first to resolve any billing issues
 
Consumer Rights
This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights under applicable law. If you are located in the EU, UK, Australia, or other jurisdictions with consumer protection laws, you may have additional rights beyond this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will not affect refund eligibility for purchases made before the update. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
